Understanding SOS Shopping

SOS Shopping is a group ordering service with local producers and artisans we already work with. Rather than running your errands on demand, we offer you a catalogue of quality products at a controlled price.

This is not a made-to-order shopping errand service. We do not go to the shop of your choice: we offer you our partners — small producers and artisans selected for their quality and prices — and group the orders of everyone interested for a weekly delivery.

A trusted catalogue: a selection of local producers and artisans we already work with, for guaranteed quality.

A group order: by bringing together the orders of several beneficiaries, we limit trips and therefore costs.

Our approach in Liège

At Cœur Historique, we have built direct relationships with producers and artisans across the province of Liège: market gardeners, bakers, cheesemakers, brewers... By pooling our beneficiaries' orders, we give them access to healthy, local food, without ever compromising on affordability.

How do you place an order?

Whether it's your very first order or your order for the week, here's how it works:

Getting in touch

You contact us by phone or email to let us know you're interested in SOS Shopping.

Order

Together we put together your order, based on our catalogue of partner local producers and artisans.

Confirmation

Your order is confirmed once payment is received, by Friday at 2pm at the latest.

Scheduling

We schedule the round with our partner producers and your delivery, which takes place that same week.

Once your order is confirmed

Phase 1

The group order

We combine all the orders received and place them with our partner producers and artisans.

Phase 2

The producer round

On the day, our team visits each producer with adapted vehicles: every beneficiary has their own basket, filled directly along the round.

Phase 3

Home delivery

Once the round is complete, we deliver directly to each beneficiary that same day, and help them carry up and put away their shopping.
