Local Communities Space

1. How did we define this persona?

This space is entirely dedicated to local communities, neighbourhood sports clubs, equestrian associations, cultural circles and grassroots non-profits established in Liège province. These groups are the beating heart of community life and regional cohesion. Often run by passionate volunteers, they frequently lack the internal resources, time or specific expertise to modernise their administrative infrastructure and meet the demands of modern communication.

2. What challenges and objectives are at stake?

For a local community or sports club, the main challenge lies in operational management and public engagement. Creating and maintaining an up-to-date website, setting up a reliable ticketing (*ticketing*) system for events or membership fees, designing compelling newsletter campaigns to retain members, and effectively spreading the word, all prove time-consuming and costly. These organisations aim to offload this technical complexity so they can focus on their core mission — sport, community activities, equestrianism or social action — while multiplying their impact and local reach.

3. What concrete actions have been put in place?

Cœur Historique gives local groups a direct technological and logistical boost. We put our skills to work deploying and structuring their digital solutions: creating or redesigning websites, setting up online ticketing software, and implementing newsletter and event-sharing tools. But our commitment doesn't stop at the virtual world. We use the sounding board of our own **Blog and News section** to relay their initiatives. What's more, our teams get physically involved by ensuring an **active presence on the ground at their events**, to support their actions and document their successes.
