Insurance & Protection Framework
The safety of our actions, the protection of our volunteers, and the peace of mind of our members are at the heart of how we operate. ASBL Cœur Historique holds all the insurance coverage required by Belgian law.
🛡️ Business Civil Liability (AG Insurance)
As part of our public-interest activities in the environment and mobility fields, our association is covered by an official contract with the AG Insurance company:
- Name: COEUR HISTORIQUE ASBL
- Contract number: 03/67.183.478
- Main guarantee: General Liability Insurance covering bodily injury and property damage up to 2.500.000,00 EUR per claim.
- Legal Protection: Included in the overall coverage package to ensure the ASBL's legal defence.
🤝 Volunteer Insurance (Province of Liège)
In accordance with the Belgian law on volunteering, ASBL Cœur Historique also relies on the free protection scheme offered by the Province of Liège to cover its volunteers during field missions.
This collective insurance protects our teams against bodily injury and civil liability, in addition to our internal coverage.

🏥 Hospitalisation & Health Protection (DKV)
Because the health of our community is a priority, the ASBL offers comprehensive DKV coverage exclusively for its contributing members.
Access conditions:
- Accessible only upon the member's explicit request;
- Subject to a firm written commitment to pay the contributions linked to the insurance policy.
