Privacy and Data Protection Charter

The non-profit Cœur Historique is committed to protecting the privacy of its users, donors and partners in the province of Liège. This charter details our transparency policy and our strict adherence to the rules of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

1. The fundamental principle: Zero invisible collection

Protecting your data is not an option, it is a value. The non-profit Cœur Historique collects no personal data without your knowledge while you browse our website. We do not track your activity, we do not create a user profile, and we never sell, rent or transmit any information to third parties or commercial partners.

2. Voluntarily provided data (Forms and Contact)

The only personal data we process is that which you choose to voluntarily provide to us (for example, when sending a direct email or making a phone call to request an emergency social intervention).

  • Purpose: This information (name, phone, email address) is only used to respond to your specific request (SOS Diogenes, Social Taxi, volunteering request, etc.).
  • Retention period: Your contact details are kept only for as long as necessary to process and follow up on your case, after which they are permanently deleted.

3. Data security and hosting

Although our collection is minimal, the security of the little information exchanged remains an absolute priority. Our website uses the end-to-end encryption protocol HTTPS, guaranteeing that all connections between your device and our secure hosting servers are fully encrypted and tamper-proof.

4. Your rights of access, rectification and deletion

In accordance with Belgian and European law, you have an absolute right over your data. If you have contacted us in the past and wish to check, modify or demand the immediate deletion of your information from our operational address books, simply send us a written request via our contact form.

5. Changes to our privacy policy

The non-profit Cœur Historique reserves the right to update this charter if new solidarity services require it, always with the aim of maintaining the highest level of protection and compliance for our community in Liège.
